The purpose of our Missions Committee is to effectively communicate the vision of world missions to every level of our congregation. This is done by our first Sunday missions focus, a monthly newsletter (The Commission), scheduling missionary guests, and hosting an annual Missions Summit. We also have BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) lessons during our Kidspoint sessions and plan mission trips and outreaches. We strive to encourage prayer and financial support for our missionaries. The Missions team meets the first Sunday of the month after the morning worship service, convening about seven times a year (taking breaks during the summer or when there is no urgent business).
